Order Changes Policy
Our ability to make changes to your order (such as color or size) depends on the type of item you ordered.
This article provides detailed information on our Order Changes Policy.
Depending on the type of item you ordered, our color & size change time window will differ slightly.
Ready-Made Items
Processing Time: These items are processed quickly before shipping.
Examples: Final Sale Items, Clearance Sale Items, Swatches, 48-Hour Ship Items, Mystery Boxes, etc.
Change Window: Within 1 hour of order confirmation.
Procedure: Email our customer service team with your order number and change request for color or size within 1 hour.
Made-To-Order Items
Processing Time: Several days for production.
Examples: Bridesmaid Dresses, Mother of the Bride Dresses, Wedding Dresses, etc.
Change Window: Within 24 hours of order confirmation.
Procedure: Email our customer service team with your order number and change request for color, size or measurement within 24 hours.
Please note: After the 24-hour change window, orders move into production and cannot be changed.
We understand that mistakes can lead to incorrect orders, but we also need to cover some of the costs that have already been incurred. If you need to modify your order information during 24 hours to 120 hours after placing the order (if the order has not shipped) , we will charge a modification fee of $25 per item. No changes can be made after 120 hours.
Please note: This clause applies only to standard products, not customized products.
We can only offer free changes from standard size to standard size, or from custom size to custom size. If you need to change the standard size to custom size, please contact our customer service with your order number and your change request in your email, then we will help make the change.
Please note: We’ll have to charge you the custom fee for changes from standard size to custom size. Likewise, if you need to change the custom size to a standard size, we’ll refund you the custom fee you paid.
If you need to add or delete items within the change window, please email our customer service team with your order number and change request. They will help delete the item you don’t want or add the item you need to your existing order.
We understand that sometimes you may input the wrong address when placing your order and need to change it after. Please contact our customer service to change it before the order ships. Changes cannot be made once the order is shipped.
Due to time zone differences, there may be delays in processing change requests. Therefore, we suggest you submit your change request within the following change window:
Ready-Made Items: 1 hour
Made-to-Order Items: 24 hours
If you submit your change request after the change window, we reserve the right to refuse your request. And if the order ships before we start processing your request, changes cannot be made, and we are not liable for this situation.
While we accept some change requests for Made-to-Order Items, we recommend avoiding changes to minimize material waste. Keep in mind that the majority of ZAPAKA's made-to-order products are to help minimize our carbon footprint and reduce environmental waste. Changes after production may cause more waste of the materials. Therefore, we recommend that you consider what changes you need and leave a note before placing an order, and ensure your order information is correct before placing the order.
